Independent Engineering & AI Consultant

I work through complex problems and engineer what comes next.

I personally investigate business and technology challenges, shape the engineering approach and help turn it into a working solution. Drawing on experience across fintech, enterprise platforms, Frappe and applied AI—without assuming that yesterday's answer fits tomorrow's problem.

What I work on

Different domains. One engineering approach.

I don't start with a technology catalogue or a preselected solution. I start with the business problem, the systems already in place, the constraints and the unknowns. Then I determine what needs to be engineered.

01 / BUSINESS SYSTEMS

Frappe & ERPNext engineering.

Custom applications, business workflows, platform extensions, integrations and multi-site architecture.

02 / FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY

Fintech and payment systems.

Payment processing, switches, wallets, card systems, standards-based messaging and integration challenges.

03 / APPLIED AI

AI engineered into real work.

AI-enabled business workflows, engineering tools, knowledge systems and controlled multi-step automation.

04 / TECHNICAL DIRECTION

Architecture and engineering advisory.

Investigating unfamiliar problems, evaluating trade-offs, reviewing systems and defining a practical path forward.

My role

An expert you work with directly.

I am not positioning this as a large agency or a rotating pool of resources. You engage me for my own engineering judgement and involvement. I work directly with founders, technology leaders and engineering teams to understand the problem, architect the response and move the work forward.

My core work combines investigation, architecture, technical advice and hands-on prototypes or critical components. For selected engagements, I can also take on broader implementation.

How an engagement moves

Investigate → Architect → Validate → Build

  • Clarify the business outcome and current operating context.
  • Identify unknowns, constraints, dependencies and failure modes.
  • Compare approaches and make trade-offs explicit.
  • Prototype or build critical parts to validate the direction.
  • Guide implementation with attention to reliability and maintainability.

Experience, not assumptions

Prior work informs the approach. It doesn't predetermine the answer.

My background includes payment switches, card and wallet systems, ISO 20022 translation, secure file exchange, Frappe platform engineering, AI meeting assistance and AI-enabled developer tooling. These are examples of experience—not a claim that every new client problem has already been solved.

Business platforms

Multi-site Frappe platform engineering and custom application development.

Fintech systems

Payment switches, credit card engine and wallet systems, with payment messaging and integration experience.

Applied AI

AI meeting assistant, Qwen3 model adaptation, retrieval and agent workflows, and an AI-native Frappe development operator using OpenHands SDK with human approval gates.

Secure integration

ISO 20022 translation and PGP/cloud-based secure file exchange workflows.
